About the work
For our Location De Edelsteen in the Pijp area we are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager. As Assistant Branch Manager you will work in the group and you will be the link between the group and the office as support for the branch manager. For this, you are required to be flexibly deployable. This can be in terms of both activities and working hours. You provide support with tours, work schedules, child placements and orders, among other things.
As an assistant, you will go to work with your colleagues full of energy and fun. Together you are responsible for the daily care, development and nurturing of the children. You ensure that the children, ranging in age from 0 to 4 years old, can develop, play and grow in a safe and pleasant environment.
You supervise and stimulate the children, both in groups and individually, and liaise with parents/caregivers. In addition, together with your colleagues, you make an active and professional contribution to consultation forms. In addition, you support and replace the branch manager during absence and vacations.
We offer you
Salary: a good salary (scale 7) between €2.874,-- €3.837,- gross per month based on 36 hours, in accordance with CAO Kinderopvang, depending on your education and experience.
You will also receive 8% vacation allowance (paid in May) and 4% end of year allowance (paid in December).
Contract: we start with a contract for 12 months
Vacation days: you have 26 vacation days per year (based on 36 hours).

Academy days & team outings: every spring and fall an academy day is organized for all of DKW. Instructive and fun! We end the day with a drink. In addition, each Location organizes a team outing every year, the content of which you determine yourself with your colleagues at Location.
Childcare Academy: there are extensive opportunities to develop yourself through our DKW Academy in the directions you find interesting.
Priority and discounted child placement: you have priority access to Locations at De Kleine Wereld for your own child and receive a 5% discount.
About your qualities
You share with us the passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety, security and stimulate the children in their development. In addition, you hold an intermediate or higher vocational degree that allows you to work in childcare.
