About the work
In the position of Co-operating Coach on Location you are responsible for the daily implementation of our pedagogical policy. You will be guided in this by the Pedagogical Department.
It is a fun, challenging and varied position in which you intallly coach on the job. In addition, you organize, for example, substantive team evenings or train the team through the train the trainer concept. Other task areas are:
- Coaching on the job - You support and guide pedagogical staff in their daily work.
- Organize training sessions and team nights - You will train the team through the train-the-trainer concept and organize substantive meetings.
- Quality assurance - You ensure that the pedagogical vision and working methods are propagated optimally within the location.
- Supervise BBL students - You will assist students in their development and growth within the childcare industry.
- Promote pedagogical expertise - You will share knowledge and advise both colleagues and parents on pedagogical issues.
- Organize activities - You organize and supervise activities that are appropriate to the development of children of different ages.
- Working in the group - In addition to your coaching role, you and your colleagues are responsible for the daily care, nurturing and development of children (ages 0-4).
- Collaborate with the Pedagogy Department - You actively think about the pedagogical policy, the work plan and the further development of our pedagogical vision.
We offer you
Salary: a good salary (scale 7) between €2.874 - €3.837,- gross per month on the basis of 36 hours, in accordance with the Childcare CLA, depending on your education and experience.
You will also receive 8% vacation allowance (paid in May) and 4% end of year allowance (paid in December).
Contract: we start with a contract for 12 months
Vacation days: you have 26 vacation days per year (based on 36 hours).

Academy days & team outings: every spring and fall an academy day is organized for all of DKW. Instructive and fun! We end the day with a drink. In addition, each Location organizes a team outing every year, the content of which you determine yourself with your colleagues at Location.
Childcare Academy: there are extensive opportunities to develop yourself through our DKW Academy in the directions you find interesting.
Priority and discounted child placement: you have priority access to Locations at De Kleine Wereld for your own child and receive a 5% discount.
About your qualities
Are you an experienced childcare professional or an enthusiastic (almost) college graduate? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

- Has knowledge of the developmental stages of children.
- Has excellent social skills to transfer knowledge and information.
- Can communicate well at all levels.
- Is proactive and enthusiastic.
