About the work
For our Van Ostadestraat location, we are looking for an enthusiastic Pedagogical Professional who likes variety. In this position you will work one day at the baby group and two or three days at our After School Care.
Our location is in the middle of the bustling Pijp area and is located in De Derde Dalton Elementary School. For toddlers, we have an enclosed outdoor area, while children in After School Care use the school's playground.
As a Pedagogical Professional in the baby group, you are a familiar and steady face for our babies. You make sure they feel safe and give them the love and attention they need. At the After School Care you will supervise children between the ages of 4 and 12, both individually and in groups, and organize challenging activities that stimulate their development.
We offer you
Salary: An attractive salary in scale 6 between €2,577 and €3,541 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week, in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Childcare. The salary depends on your education and experience.
Vacations: You will receive 26 vacation days per year based on a 36-hour work week.
Vacation allowance and year-end bonus: You will receive 8% vacation allowance (paid in May) and a 4% year-end bonus (paid in December).
Contract: We start with a 12-month contract.

Academy days and team outings: twice a year, De Kleine Wereld organizes academy days for all employees. These days are both educational and fun, with drinks to end the day. In addition, each Location organizes an annual team outing, where you and your colleagues decide what to do.
Childcare Academy: Through our DKW Academy, you get extensive opportunities to develop yourself in the directions you find interesting.
About your qualities
You share with us the passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety, security and stimulate the children in their development. In addition, you hold an intermediate or higher vocational degree that allows you to work in childcare.
