About the work

Our Nieuwendammerdijk location, consisting of a baby and toddler group, offers a warm and safe environment in which children can develop optimally. It is a place where personal attention is key, and where children are given the space to learn and grow through play.

As a Pedagogical Professional in the toddler group you are responsible for the care, nurturing and development of children from 2 years old until the day they go to elementary school. As a Pedagogical Pedagogical Professional , you will actively contribute to the pedagogical policy, contribute to consultation forms and work closely with your colleagues to create a positive atmosphere, guiding the children both individually and in groups. In addition, you organize challenging activities that promote the children's development.

We offer you

Salary: An attractive salary in scale 6 between €2,577 and €3,541 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week, in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Childcare. The salary depends on your education and experience.
Vacations: You will receive 26 vacation days per year based on a 36-hour work week.
Vacation allowance and year-end bonus: You will receive 8% vacation allowance (paid in May) and a 4% year-end bonus (paid in December).
Contract: We start with a 12-month contract.

Academy days and team outings: twice a year, De Kleine Wereld organizes academy days for all employees. These days are both educational and fun, with drinks to end the day. In addition, each Location organizes an annual team outing, where you and your colleagues decide what to do.
Childcare Academy: Through our DKW Academy, you get extensive opportunities to develop yourself in the directions you find interesting.

About your qualities

You share with us the passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety, security and stimulate the children in their development. In addition, you hold an intermediate or higher vocational degree that allows you to work in childcare.

About De Kleine Wereld

At De Kleine Wereld we are committed to raising children together with parents in a loving and professional environment, where the child's enjoyment is central. We prepare children for independent and social participation in society by giving them skills, knowledge, norms and values - all through play.

Each location has its own location manager who takes care of the supervision of staff and children, and the contacts with parents. From the service office we offer support on HR, Planning, Finance and Pedagogy.
