About the work

At our locations Van Ostadestraat in de Pijp and IKC Frankendael in stadsdeel Oost, we offer a rich VE program for children aged 2 to 4. The children are cared for throughout the day. As a Pedagogical Professional VE you work together with your colleagues with energy and fun. You are responsible for the daily care, development and nurturing of the children and contribute to a continuous learning line from pre-school to group 1.

You guide and stimulate the children, both in groups and individually, from a structured didactic and pedagogical approach. You organize challenging activities aimed at the development of the children based on the VE program. In addition, together with your colleagues, you make an active and professional contribution to meetings and share the care for the group space. Of course you also maintain contact with parents and caregivers. Within De Kleine Wereld we work with the Piramide method.

We offer you

• Salaris: een goed salaris (schaal 7)* tussen de €2.874,-– €3.837,- bruto per maand o.b.v. 36 uur, conform CAO Kinderopvang, afhankelijk van je opleiding en ervaring. 
• Salaris: Een aantrekkelijk salaris in schaal 6 tussen de €2.577,- en €3.541,- bruto per maand op basis van een 36-urige werkweek, conform de CAO Kinderopvang. Het salaris is afhankelijk van jouw opleiding en ervaring.
• Contract: We starten met een contract van 12 maanden.
• Vakantiedagen: Je krijgt 26 vakantiedagen per jaar op basis van een 36-urige werkweek.
• Vakantietoeslag en Eindejaarsuitkering: Je ontvangt 8% vakantietoeslag (uitbetaald in mei) en een 5.5% eindejaarsuitkering (uitbetaald in december).

Personal development

• Academiedagen en teamuitjes: Twee keer per jaar organiseert De Kleine Wereld academiedagen voor alle medewerkers. Deze dagen zijn zowel leerzaam als gezellig, met een borrel om de dag af te sluiten. Daarnaast organiseert elke vestiging jaarlijks een teamuitje, waarbij jij samen met je collega’s bepaalt wat jullie gaan doen.
• Kinderopvang Academie: Via onze DKW-academie krijg je uitgebreide mogelijkheden om jezelf te ontwikkelen in de richtingen die jij interessant vindt.

About your qualities

You share our passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety and security and stimulate them in their development. In addition, you are in possession of an MBO or HBO diploma that qualifies you to work in childcare. It is an advantage if you already have a certificate in pre-school (VVE). If you do not yet have this, we offer the opportunity to take the training. The VVE basic certificate can also be obtained through us.

The purpose of parenting is to prepare children as well as possible for independent and social participation in society. This means not only giving children the opportunity to develop undisturbed and free, but also imparting skills, knowledge, norms and values.

We do this through play.
After all, children learn through play.

Each Location has its own (cooperating) location manager for the supervision of staff and children, contacts with parents and administrative tasks. From the service office the Locations are supported in the areas of HR, child planning, Finance and Pedagogy.
