About the work
At De Kleine Wereld location De Edelsteen in De Pijp we offer children a warm and challenging environment in which they can develop optimally. Our location is located in a vibrant neighborhood and is a place where children playfully discover the world, guided by a committed and enthusiastic team.
In our VE group, children aged 2 to 4 years are cared for in the morning(08:30 - 12:30) during the 40 school weeks. During the school vacations (12 weeks per year) the VE group is closed. We are looking for a new colleague for three to five mornings per week.
Your role as a Pedagogical Professional VE
As a Pedagogical Professional VE you work with your colleagues with great energy and pleasure. You will be responsible for the daily care, development and nurturing of the children and contribute to the continuous learning line from preschool to grade 1.
You guide and stimulate the children, both in groups and individually, with a structured didactic and pedagogical approach. Together with your colleagues you organize challenging activities aimed at the development of the children, using the VE program (Piramide Method). In addition, you actively participate in consultation forms and also maintain close contact with parents/caregivers.
We offer you
Salary: a good salary (scale 7)* between €2.874,-- €3.837,- gross per month based on 36 hours, in accordance with CAO Childcare, depending on your education and experience.
Vacation days: You will receive 26 vacation days per year based on a 36-hour work week.
Vacation allowance and year-end bonus: You will receive 8% vacation allowance (paid in May) and a 4% year-end bonus (paid in December).
Contract: We start with a 12-month contract.

Childcare Academy: Through our DKW Academy, you get extensive opportunities to develop yourself in the directions you find interesting.

About your qualities
You share our passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety and security and stimulate them in their development. In addition, you are in possession of an MBO or HBO diploma that qualifies you to work in childcare. It is an advantage if you already have a certificate in pre-school (VVE). If you do not yet have this, we offer the opportunity to take the training. The VVE basic certificate can also be obtained through us.
