Our location
Location and Region
The SE Pieter Holmplein location is uniquely situated in the natural surroundings of IJburg. The daycare is housed in a modern yet attractive building with a pleasant outdoor area.
Group rooms
This two-story facility features well-equipped group rooms. Large windows offer views of the street and the beautiful garden. The various play areas and soothing colors create a homey and inviting atmosphere. On the ground floor, there's a central hall where children can enjoy musical instruments and a theater. There's also a wide selection of play materials for children to play with, and the space is decorated with warm rugs and plants. We make good use of each other's strengths and talents and are creative in organizing activities that we can enjoy together.
This creates a familiar atmosphere where all the children get to know each other and can play together. Each group has separate bedrooms, and each child has their own bed.
Playing outside
Adjacent to the group rooms, there's a private outdoor playground where children can ride their bikes and find a variety of outdoor equipment. The pleasant surroundings encourage us to take daily walks to the lively center of IJburg or explore the surrounding nature reserves and parks.
Our Team
The SE Pieter Holmplein branch is characterised by its creative and dedicated team that prioritises personal attention for both children and parents.

Our core values
Children are unique individuals; they are strong, talented, and have a natural drive for self-development. They are curious and explore the world at their own level, at their own pace, and according to their own abilities and character.
De Kleine Wereld offers the child a complementary environment at home and at school. It is therefore crucial that we arrange the child's care in consultation with the parents. We offer an environment full of possibilities. With us, the child experiences different things and develops partly through contact with other children and adults. All this makes the care at De Kleine Wereld an essential part of education.
