Group rooms
This unique location features several group rooms (living rooms) decorated with soothing colors and plants, creating a homey and cozy atmosphere. In the various play areas, children can choose from a wide range of play materials. Besides the living rooms, we also use the gymnasium, the theater, and the spacious outdoor area right outside. Here, children can garden, play soccer, build in the outdoor workshop, climb and clamber in the large wooden play castle, or play with the water slide. This way, they are fully encouraged to play and explore outdoors.
Every month we offer a varied activity program that focuses on talent development. Creativity, music, sports, and dance: we help children discover what they're good at and what they enjoy. Happy children and satisfied parents – that's what it's all about at De Kleine Wereld.
After-school care

In addition, the pedagogical staff of De Kleine Wereld Deployed in the classroom for 1 hour and 15 minutes a day to support teachers, acting as classroom assistants. They provide support and facilitation, but also add educational value.
Because our staff are actively involved with the children in the classroom, they understand their situation both in the classroom and at school. Collegial collaboration within the IKC strengthens the children's continuous development and connects the various disciplines within the IKC.

Our core values
Children are unique individuals; they are strong, talented, and have a natural drive for self-development. They are curious and explore the world at their own level, at their own pace, and according to their own abilities and character.
De Kleine Wereld offers the child a complementary environment at home and at school. It is therefore crucial that we arrange the child's care in consultation with the parents. We offer an environment full of possibilities. With us, the child experiences different things and develops partly through contact with other children and adults. All this makes the care at De Kleine Wereld an essential part of education.
