About work
Are you looking for a workplace where you can enjoy working in a warm team and where you can express your passion for the profession? For our location on Fire Dirk Ochsepark (IJburg) we are looking for an enthusiastic pedagogical professional for the Toddler Group (2 – 4 years).
Our location is in the heart of the modern and child-friendly IJburg district, right on the water and surrounded by lush greenery. Inside, it's homey and bright, while outside we have a spacious, green garden where children can play, explore, and relax to their heart's content. And for you as a professional? Great coffee shops within walking distance offer pleasant breaks with colleagues. Working in IJburg means peace, space, and easy access to the city. Tram 26 will take you straight to Amsterdam Central Station.
As a pedagogical professional*, you guide and encourage children in their development. You provide safety and security, and challenge children to grow through play. You maintain contact with parents/guardians and work closely with your colleagues. Together, you create a warm, inspiring environment where every child can develop at their own pace.
There's also plenty of room for creativity, your own ideas, and initiatives: whether you enjoy crafting, making music, creating themed corners, or trying out new activities, your input is valued and makes a difference for the children.
Together you create a warm, inspiring environment in which every child can develop at his or her own pace.
*Pedagogical professional is the new name for pedagogical employee, a name that better suits the professionals who work day in and day out for our wonderful profession.
