About work
As a substitute Pedagogical Professional*, you step in wherever you are needed. You work at prime locations. (Daycare or Out-of-School Care) In vibrant Amsterdam, surrounded by the best colleagues. No day is the same: one moment you are supervising a craft activity with toddlers, the next you are taking the after-school care children outside for a sports tournament.
You decide when you are available, and we plan around that. This way, you combine working with outdoor cafes, festivals, and everything else the summer has to offer. And if you like it? It doesn't have to stop at the summer; you are welcome to stay and easily combine your part-time job with your studies, exams, and everything else that comes your way.
*Pedagogical professional is the new name for pedagogical employee, a name that better suits the professionals who work day in and day out for our wonderful profession.
We offer you
Flexible hours, you decide when you work. You work with experienced colleagues who are happy to guide you. We offer a salary in scale 6, step 12, €2.641 gross per month (based on 36 hours, in accordance with the Childcare Collective Labour Agreement) and a annual contract. On top of that, you receive an 8% holiday allowance and accrued leave paid out with every salary you receive, and an 8% year-end bonus paid out in December.
Travel is at our expense, €0,23 per km or a full public transport reimbursement, whichever you prefer. You accrue pension with Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn.
For your vitality, we collaborate with SportCity (free sports) and Hart van de Zaak, and via the well-being platform Empowr you can go for coaching, budget advice, or mindfulness.
About your qualities
🎓 HBO student: You are following a program focused on children or teaching and have completed at least 50–75% of your studies. Think of Pedagogy, Teacher Training, Social Work, or similar.
🎓 university student: You are studying Psychology or Pedagogy or a similar field at university and have obtained at least 60 credits.
& you share our passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety and security and stimulate their development.
