About work

For our IKC location Frankendael In Amsterdam East, we are looking for a loving and committed pedagogical professional for the baby group for three days a week.

Our location is part of IKC Frankendael, an integrated children's center offering daycare, early childhood education, after-school care, and primary education. In the vibrant Transvaal neighborhood, we offer children a safe and inspiring place to play, discover, and grow.

At the baby group, you'll be a familiar and trusted presence for the littlest ones. You'll create a warm and secure environment where babies feel safe and can develop at their own pace. With loving care, attention, and targeted activities, you'll stimulate their growth and development.

You'll also maintain regular contact with parents/guardians and work closely with your colleagues. Together, you'll provide the best possible care and continuously work to improve the quality of childcare.

We offer you

Salary: An attractive salary in scale 6 between €2.641 and €3.630 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week, in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Childcare. The salary depends on your education and experience.
Holidays: You get 26 days of vacation per year based on a 36-hour working week.
Holiday allowance and end-of-year bonus: You will receive 8% holiday allowance (paid in May) and a 8% end-of-year bonus (paid in December).
contract: We offer the possibility of a permanent contract.

Travel allowance: You will receive a travel allowance (0.23 ct) or a full public transport reimbursement, depending on your preference.
Pension: You build up a pension with the Healthcare & Welfare pension fund.
Bicycle plan: You can purchase a bicycle cheaply through our bicycle plan.
Vitality program: At De Kleine Wereld We consider vitality very important. You can choose from a wide range of webinars, online programs, and coaching. We also have a partnership with Sportcity, so you can exercise for free.
Priority and discount on childcare: As an employee, you have priority for a place for your own child and receive a 5% discount on the costs.
Academy days and team outings: Twice a year, organizes De Kleine Wereld Academy days for all employees. These days are both educational and enjoyable, with drinks to round off the day. In addition, each location organizes an annual team outing, where you and your colleagues decide what to do.
Childcare Academy: Our DKW academy offers you extensive opportunities to develop yourself in the directions that interest you.

About your qualities

You share our passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety and security, and encourage their development. You also hold a vocational (MBO) or higher professional education (HBO) diploma, which qualifies you to work in childcare.
