For our after-school care location van Oldenbarneveldt In bustling Amsterdam West, we are looking for a pedagogical professional/pedagogical staff member* who combines sport, play, and creativity with an eye for child development.
Our workday
The school bell rings and the children run outside. Together with colleagues, we are ready to make it a fun and meaningful afternoon. Whether it is a football tournament on the playground, a creative workshop, or a quiet moment with a book, together we create a place where children feel at home and can be themselves. We organize activities that align with their interests and guide the children both individually and in groups.
The location
Van Oldenbarneveldt Located in Amsterdam West, a pleasant and lively district. The location is easily accessible by tram and bus. You will work in a committed team with plenty of room for your own ideas and initiative.
Extra option: TSO on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
Want to expand your hours? You can also work at the after-school care (TSO) at the primary school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. De Kleine Reus, from 11:30 AM to 13:30 PM. A great opportunity to supervise the children during school hours and enrich your work week.

We offer you
Salary: An attractive salary in scale 6 between €17,80 and €18.69 gross per hour, in accordance with the Childcare Collective Labor Agreement.
contract: We start with a 12-month contract.
Holidays: You get 26 days of vacation per year based on a 36-hour working week.
Holiday allowance and end-of-year bonus: You will receive 8% holiday allowance (paid in May) and a 5.5% end-of-year bonus (paid in December).
Travel allowance: You will receive a travel allowance (0.23ct) or a full public transport allowance, depending on your preference.
Pension: You build up a pension with the Healthcare & Welfare pension fund.
Bicycle plan: You can purchase a bicycle cheaply through our bicycle plan.
Vitality program: At De Kleine Wereld We believe vitality is very important. You can choose from a wide range of webinars, online programs, and coaching via Heart of the Matter. We also have a partnership with Sportcity, so you can exercise for free.
Empower: A wellness platform that employees can use for free. Empowr can support a healthy work-life balance and offers various services, such as coaching, budget coaching, and mindfulness.
Academy days and team outings: Twice a year, organizes De Kleine Wereld Academy days for all employees. These days are both educational and enjoyable, with drinks to round off the day. In addition, each location organizes an annual team outing, where you and your colleagues decide what to do.
Childcare Academy: Our DKW academy offers you extensive opportunities to develop yourself in the directions that interest you.
About your qualities
You share our passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety and security, and encourage their development. You also hold a vocational (MBO) or higher professional education (HBO) diploma, which qualifies you to work in childcare.
