A unique location with its own vegetable garden

According to Michelle, it's mainly the location and the outdoor space that make the De Bilt location so special. "We're right in the heart of the country, with easy access to several cities for our employees," she says. "We also have a large garden where we play outside twice a day. But what makes it truly unique is our vegetable garden. Together with the children, we plant seeds, like those from a bell pepper, and watch them grow and blossom. It's not only educational, but also incredibly fun to do together!"

A close-knit team full of cooperation

The atmosphere at the location is warm and collaborative. "We have a close-knit team where there's always room for a laugh, but we can also count on each other. The childcare workers from the baby groups regularly visit the toddler groups and vice versa. That only strengthens the collaboration."

New employees are immediately welcomed into this pleasant atmosphere. "Everyone receives a warm welcome, with a comprehensive tour and colleagues who are always happy to chat."

Space for ideas and personal responsibility

At Topkids, there's plenty of room for initiative and development. "Within our branches, we have committees where colleagues can contribute ideas on topics like sustainability and charities," explains Michelle. "It's wonderful to see these initiatives grow. This gives everyone the opportunity to truly contribute and take responsibility."

Fun and traditions in the workplace

At the De Bilt location, traditions and shared activities create a great sense of fun. "Our annual Sinterklaas New Year celebration is always a huge success," Michelle says with a laugh. "We buy small gifts, cook together, and celebrate the end of the year in a fun way."

All sorts of fun activities are organized outside of work as well. "From team outings to amusement parks and festivals to dinner together – there's always something fun to do. Anyone who wants to join in the fun is welcome."
