Location
Location De Boomsspijker is located in the middle of the authentic neighborhood of 'Nieuwmarkt'. With playground De Waag as a second backyard and Nemo around the corner, In addition, Location is nice and central, this allows us to discover the entire city with the children.
Group Rooms
This special Location has several living rooms (tribal groups) attractively designed for children aged approximately 4 to 13 years, who need a different environment after school. The building offers many opportunities for creativity and play experiences. There are also several corners where children can play after school but also find some peace and quiet after a long school day. Here children can be themselves in a familiar and safe environment, and they can develop in their own way, in a nice living room setting, where fun comes first! Besides these spaces, we often make use of the versatile neighborhood where we visit playgrounds and the park. Taking fun outings together is also on the daily program where the children are involved in thinking of fun locations.
Sports
At de Boomsspijker we offer regular care and sports! Where regular feels at home in play, creativity, musicality and cultural activities, sports feels at home in ball sports, athletics, endurance sports and you name it! The sports we do at sports field SWIFT Amsterdam. In addition, as After School Care we are outside a lot to explore, play and learn!

VSO Childcare
It may happen that school hours do not fit well with your work or study hours. To accommodate this, we offer pre-school care through After School Care. Here children can start the day quietly in a familiar environment and are taken to the relevant classrooms by our own staff.
At Location De Boomsspijker , we only offer VSO for the children of The Bookman School.
We expect the children to have already had breakfast.
The hourly rate for VSO is the same as the hourly rate for After School Care. You can apply for preschool child care subsidies.
