Location
De Kleine Wereld offers out-of-school Childcare within IKC De Kleine Reus . We do so from 2 locations. At Nieuwe Looierstraat 9, we use spaces together with education for children aged 4 to 7. The furnishings and play and play materials are age-appropriate. At the Noorderstraat 6 location the rooms are equipped for children from 6.5 to 13 years old. The two buildings face each other at the back.
Group rooms
This particular Location has several groups (living rooms) and are decorated with quiet colors and plants that create a homely and cozy atmosphere. There are also different play corners where children can play with a wide choice of play materials. Besides the living rooms, we make use of the gymnasium, theater room and the great spacious outdoor area in front of the door. Here children can garden, play soccer, build in the outdoor workshop, as well as climb, clamber in the large wooden play castle or play with a water stream. Children are encouraged to enjoy playing and exploring outdoors.
Every month we offer a varied program of activities, which focuses on talent development. Creativity, music, sports and dance; we help children discover what they are good at, and above all: having fun! Happy children and satisfied parents. That is what it is all about at De Kleine Wereld.

Between school Childcare
De Kleine Wereld provides the between-school stay at noon for all children at De Kleine Reus Childcare . This lunch break lasts ¾ hour. In addition, the teaching assistants of De Kleine Wereld are deployed in the classroom for 5 quarters of an hour to support the teachers (class assistants). The assistants support, facilitate and have an educational added value. By being involved with the children in the classroom, our staff members know their situation in the classroom and at school. The collegial cooperation in the IKC context contributes to strengthening the continuous development line of children in relation to the various disciplines within the IKC. Parents receive an invoice per school year to pay for TSO. TSO is not covered by the Childcare Act and therefore does not qualify for childcare subsidies.
