Location
Location IKC Frankendael is located at a unique location in the middle of the dynamic Transvaal neighborhood. Here we have partnered with IKC Frankendael to develop an Integrated Children's Center. In this IKC, in addition to space for the school, there is space for all social facilities, such as: childcare, specialized preschool (pre-school), between-school care and After School Care (out-of-school care). The IKC stands for a broad development of children aged 0-13 years under one roof and is a joint initiative of the Frankendael (under the Amos board) and De Kleine Wereld.

Group Rooms
This Location, located in the school building on the first floor, has well-appointed group rooms. There are large windows overlooking the courtyard and lots of light that give the building a spacious and warm character. The different play corners and quiet colors create a homely and cozy atmosphere. There is also a wide selection of play materials for children to play with. This Location makes much use of each other's qualities and talents and visit each other's group during the ópen doors policy for joint activities. This creates a familiar atmosphere where all children get to know each other and can play with each other. Within the school there is also use of a small gymnasium where the children can exercise and experience play under supervision. Each group has separate bedrooms and each child has their own bed available.

Outdoor play
Located directly adjacent to the groups, there is a private outdoor playground where children can ride bikes and where various outdoor materials can be found. The nice environment ensures that we take daily walks with the children to the beautiful Frankendael Park or the cozy Paradijsplein for an errand.

Location Frankendael is characterized by its highly creative and committed team who put personal attention to the child and parents first. We also offer care here After School Care so there is a diverse team that utilizes each other's talents and unique creativity.

early childhood education

At Location IKC Frankendael , we also offer VE Childcare . At the toddler group De Oceanen, toddlers can explore in our special (VE-recognized) toddler groups, where they explore under the specialized guidance of two (VE) qualified staff members. In the group, in the corridor, in the garden or outside Location: there is something to discover everywhere!

The group is set up so that the child can explore independently which ultimately allows the child to play and learn. There is room to play alone and there are places that encourage interaction. There are open places to play but also corners where a child feels unseen. The distance proximity of a child to a professional contributes to the different phase that play has.

Basic spots can be found in all groups.

VSO Childcare 

It may happen that school hours do not fit well with your work or study hours. To accommodate this, we offer pre-school care through After School Care. Here children can start the day quietly in a familiar environment and are taken to the relevant classrooms by our own staff.

At this Location , we only offer VSO for the children of IKC Frankendael.

We expect the children to have already had breakfast.
The hourly rate for VSO is the same as the hourly rate for After School Care. You can apply for preschool child care subsidies.

Group areas
Inside there are several living rooms (groups) attractively and attractively decorated for children aged approximately 4 to 13 years. Within these group rooms there are different corners where children can play after school but also find some peace and quiet after a long school day. Both groups offer a wide choice of play materials. We also make use of the gym and the spacious outdoor area in front of the door. Children are encouraged to enjoy playing and exploring in the outdoors. We offer a varied program of activities and help children discover what they are good at, and most importantly: having fun! Happy children and happy parents. That's what it's all about at De Kleine Wereld Frankendael.
