Work and learn | in the Day-care

Are you eager to work in childcare? But would you rather not spend days back in the classroom? Then practical learning is for you. Other organizations call it a vocational training program to become a pedagogical professional. De Kleine Wereld we prefer to talk about workplace learning.

Workplace learning is slightly different from a vocational (BBL) program. It's about gaining experience. It's a program designed by childcare staff in collaboration with the school. Classes aren't held at the school itself; the instructor visits a childcare location. The program consists of several modules that you'll apply directly in practice.

Workplace learning | more fun than BBL

Most people learn best by doing it themselves. Working alongside experienced colleagues, making mistakes, sharing experiences, and getting feedback. So, in practice... With us, you'll go to school half a day a week. Yes, just half a day. The "real" learning happens on the job.

You'll have a dedicated work supervisor at your location who will guide and support you. Together, you'll explore your current status, your learning points, and what you need to develop further. This means you'll receive excellent practical support. School is a perfect fit.
