As pedagogical professional/pedagogical staff member* in our regional flex pool, you work at various locations of De Kleine Wereld, SamSam and Eigen & Wijzer in Amsterdam. No day is the same, and that is exactly what makes it so much fun. Together, we look at which locations suit you best, so that you can get to work with confidence and pleasure.
What are you going to do?
You can be deployed in both the daycare center (0–4 years) and out-of-school care (4–12 years). You support various teams, organize fun and development-oriented activities, guide children in their daily development, and maintain contact with parents. One day you work at a cozy location, the next at a larger branch or in an international environment. This way, you gain broad experience, get to know many different colleagues, and discover which work environment suits you best.

Pedagogical professional is the new name for pedagogical employee — a name that better suits the professionals who dedicate themselves to our wonderful profession day in and day out.
We offer you
Salary: An attractive salary in scale 6 between €2.681 – €3.684 gross per month Based on a 36-hour workweek, in accordance with the Childcare Collective Labor Agreement. Salary depends on your education and experience.
Contract: We start with a annual contract.
HolidaysYou will receive 210 hours of vacation leave per year based on a 36-hour working week.
Holiday allowance and end-of-year bonusYou receive an 8% holiday allowance (paid in May) and an 8% year-end bonus (paid in December). With an on-call contract, the holiday allowance and accrued leave hours are paid out with every salary you receive.
Academy Evening & Development HouseOnce a year, we organize an academy evening, an informative and enjoyable gathering with drinks afterward. In addition, every employee has access to our Development Center, where you can participate in workshops and training sessions to further develop your skills.
Travel reimbursementYou will receive a travel allowance of €0,25 per km or a full public transport allowance, depending on your preference.
RetirementYou build up a pension with the Healthcare & Welfare Pension Fund.

Priority and discount on childcareAs an employee you have priority for a place for your own child at De Kleine Wereld and you will receive a 5% discount on the costs.
About your qualities
You share our passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety and security and stimulate their development. Additionally, you hold an MBO or HBO diploma that qualifies you to work in childcare. Furthermore, you are flexible and enjoy working with different groups and for various labels.
