After-schoolcare (BSO) childcare for your child.
Even when your child is a bit older, playing remains an ideal way to develop and shape themselves. After-school care (BSO) De Kleine Wereld is fully equipped for this.
The after-school care package includes holidays and study days on contracted days. On these days, we offer full-day care.
Our After-schoolcare (BSO) childcare
Our after-school care staff pick up the children from school every day. We always make sure we arrive at the school a few minutes before the bell rings. Upon arrival at the school, there's time for a drink and a bite to eat., while time and attention is paid to the experiences and stories about school.
At the after-school care center, we work with a daily routine and rituals. Children appreciate knowing what's coming; the day is somewhat predictable. This creates a sense of security and familiarity. It also provides calm and structure within a group. These factors together form the foundation for a child to relax and develop. Of course, there's also room for spontaneity, and a break from the routine can be extra fun.
As children get older, they need more to play with their peers. They're given plenty of opportunities to do this. Finally, children can do their homework with or without supervision.

Activities at the After-schoolcare (BSO)
Our after-school care activities are designed to give children the opportunity to further develop their talents. These talents can include music, sports, creativity, science and technology, drama, and much more. The use of specialized pedagogical staff and collaboration with external partners contribute significantly to the development of the talents of after-school care children. Each location implements this in its own way, taking into account the interests and needs of the children.
During the school holidays there is an activity programme, which is prepared in advance with input from the children and will be communicated to parents and children.
Sports and Games at the After-School Care
During sports and games, children learn a wide variety of skills, such as coping with setbacks, perseverance, initiative and responsibility, handling feedback, and learning to respect rules and boundaries. They also learn to manage emotions and develop self-confidence. At after-school care, there's ample attention to sports and games that stimulate children's motor development as well as their social-emotional development.
Sports and games are not only healthy, but also provide enormous fun for children and are good for their personal and social development. That's why we have a Sports Specialist. This specialist has specific knowledge of sports and games and shares this knowledge within the organization. The Sports Specialist also organizes various sporting events throughout the year, in which all after-school care centers participate.

Our core values
Children are unique individuals; they are strong, talented, and have a natural drive for self-development. They are curious and explore the world at their own level, at their own pace, and according to their own abilities and character.
De Kleine Wereld offers the child a complementary environment at home and at school. It is therefore crucial that we arrange the child's care in consultation with the parents. We offer an environment full of possibilities. With us, the child experiences different things and develops partly through contact with other children and adults. All this makes the care at De Kleine Wereld an essential part of education.
