Indoor De Kleine Wereld, SamSam and Eigen & Wijzer We are looking for an experienced Location Manager who is flexibly deployable across our locations in Amsterdam. You bring your knowledge and experience and can quickly switch between different teams, locations, and situations. One day you support a location requiring extra attention, while at another you contribute ideas regarding team development, quality, or daily organization, or you replace the Location Manager during illness or leave, for example.
You are confident, know what it takes to run a location smoothly, and enjoy collaborating with various colleagues and teams.
Experience you can put to use
As a location manager, you are responsible for the daily management and organization of the location. You are visible on the work floor, know what is going on within the team, and together with your colleagues, ensure a safe and high-quality environment for children.
You work independently, but of course you are not alone. You work closely with colleagues within the region, including other location managers, operational managers, and the various support departments.
What are you going to do?
Your duties are varied and include, among other things:
- You lead pedagogical professionals and ensure good collaboration within the team.
- You monitor and promote pedagogical quality at the location.
- You are responsible for the daily organization and smooth functioning of the location.
- You coach and guide employees and conduct conversations about development and performance.
- You maintain an overview of personnel planning, staffing, and employee deployment.
- You are an important point of contact for parents, colleagues, and partners.
- You identify developments and bottlenecks and know how to respond to them in an appropriate manner.
- You contribute to a professional and pleasant work environment where employees can develop.
- You are flexible and can be deployed at various locations within Amsterdam, and you know how to adapt quickly to a new environment and team.
- You work together with colleagues within the region on the further development of our childcare.
We offer you
Salary: An attractive salary in scale 9 between €3.589 – €4.895 gross per month Based on a 36-hour workweek, in accordance with the Childcare Collective Labor Agreement. Salary depends on your education and experience.
Contract: the possibility of a permanent contract.
HolidaysYou will receive 210 hours of vacation leave per year based on a 36-hour working week.
Holiday allowance and end-of-year bonusYou will receive 8% holiday allowance (paid in May) and an 8% end-of-year bonus (paid in December).

About your qualities
You're someone with a heart for children and an eye for people. You know how to bring peace, connect, and simultaneously build quality and growth.
In addition you bring:
✅ You have completed an MBO4 higher professional education or university education that allows you to work in childcare.
✅You have several years of experience in childcare.
✅ You have good financial insight.
✅ You have excellent communication and organizational skills and are proficient in the Dutch language at level 3F.
