We are looking for a location manager in Amsterdam. We believe that every child develops at their own pace, in their own way, and in connection with the world around them. That is why we are looking for a location manager who, together with us, creates a place where children, parents, and colleagues feel seen, heard, and appreciated.

Your role
As a location manager, you are both a coach and a connector. You translate our pedagogical vision into daily practice and ensure that everything runs smoothly at the location, from the pedagogical climate to staffing. You strike a balance between care and professionalism: you stand behind your team, monitor quality, and take responsibility for your location's results.

What are you going to do?

• You coach and guide your team so that everyone works with pleasure and pride to create a great place for every child.
• You monitor pedagogical quality and ensure that policies, protocols, and GGD requirements are implemented in practice.
• You organize and plan with care, ensuring staffing is right and the team is empowered.
• You are the point of contact for parents and partners in the neighborhood.
• You work with the group when necessary.

We offer you

A varied role where no day is the same.

An employment contract of 24 to 32 hours per week
Salary: an attractive salary between €3.589 – €4.895 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week (scale 9), in accordance with the Childcare Collective Labour Agreement. The salary depends on your education, experience, and location.
Contract: the possibility of a permanent contract
Holidays: You get 26 days of vacation per year based on a 36-hour working week.
Holiday allowance and end-of-year bonus: You will receive 8% holiday allowance (paid in May) and a 8% end-of-year bonus (paid in December).

Travel reimbursement: you will receive a travel allowance (0.25ct) or a full public transport allowance, depending on your preference.

About your qualities

You're someone with a heart for children and an eye for people. You know how to bring peace, connect, and simultaneously build quality and growth.

In addition you bring:

✅ You have completed an MBO4 higher professional education or university education that allows you to work in childcare.
✅You have several years of experience in childcare.
✅ You have good financial insight.
✅ You have excellent communication and organizational skills (and you have a command of the Dutch language at 3F level).
