About work
For our location De Middenweg In Amsterdam East, we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic pedagogical professional/pedagogical staff member* for the Toddler Group (2–4 years). The Middenweg is a small-scale location with a baby and toddler group and a green, private garden. Development, creativity, and the outdoors are central to the location.
The location is situated in a beautiful spot, directly opposite Frankendael Park. The children go outside daily. We offer the children a rich, natural play environment, including activities such as a barefoot path and healthy baking together, and there is plenty of room to explore and move around.
As an educational professional at the toddler group You guide children during an important phase of their development. Together with your colleagues, you create a safe, stimulating, and trusting environment where toddlers can discover, learn, and grow through play. You connect with the children's curiosity and world of experience and stimulate their social, emotional, motor, and cognitive development. Additionally, you maintain close contact with parents/guardians and collaborate to provide the best support for each child. In doing so, you contribute to a place where toddlers feel seen, develop self-confidence, and enjoy exploring the world around them.
What makes this location extra pleasant is the good accessibility from Amsterdam and Diemen. During your break, you can take a walk towards the Middenweg or Oostpoort, where you'll find various shops and cozy coffee shops. A lively area with everything within easy reach.

We offer you
salary: An attractive salary in scale 6 between €2.681 – €3.684 gross per month Based on a 36-hour workweek, in accordance with the Childcare Collective Labor Agreement. Salary depends on your education and experience.
Contract: We start with a annual contract.
HolidaysYou will receive 210 hours of vacation leave per year based on a 36-hour working week.
Holiday allowance and end-of-year bonusYou will receive 8% holiday allowance (paid in May) and an 8% end-of-year bonus (paid in December).

About your qualities
You share our passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety and security and stimulate their development. Additionally, you hold an MBO, HBO, or WO degree that qualifies you to work in childcare.
