About work

For our baby group at IKC Frankendael we are looking for a loving and committed pedagogical professional/pedagogical staff member* for 2 to 3 or 3 days a week.

All under one roof
IKC Frankendael is an integrated children's center offering daycare, early childhood education, after-school care, and primary education, located in the lively Transvaal neighborhood. That is the strength of an IKC: everything under one roof and short lines of communication. During Children's Book Week, students from Group 8 come to read aloud at the daycare center. We make use of a gymnasium and an art studio, and we organize the summer party together with the school.

Your place in the baby group
In the baby group, you are a familiar and trusted face for the little ones. You provide a warm, secure environment where babies feel safe and develop at their own pace. You stimulate their growth with attention, loving care, and targeted activities. You maintain regular contact with parents and caregivers.

We are a team with a healthy dose of humor, working together openly and directly. We are there for each other and work together on the quality of our childcare.

Easily accessible
IKC Frankendael It is easily accessible by public transport and bicycle. Oostpoort Shopping Centre is just around the corner, convenient for groceries or a coffee during your break.

We offer you

Salary: An attractive salary in scale 6 between €2.681 and €3.684 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week, in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Childcare. The salary depends on your education and experience.
contract: We offer the possibility of a permanent contract.
Holidays: You get 26 days of vacation per year based on a 36-hour working week.
Holiday allowance and end-of-year bonus: You will receive 8% holiday allowance (paid in May) and a 8% end-of-year bonus (paid in December).

Travel allowance: You will receive a travel allowance (0.23 ct) or a full public transport reimbursement, depending on your preference.
Pension: You build up a pension with the Healthcare & Welfare pension fund.
Bicycle plan: You can purchase a bicycle cheaply through our bicycle plan.
Vitality program: At De Kleine Wereld We consider vitality very important. You can choose from a wide range of webinars, online programs, and coaching. We also have a partnership with Sportcity, so you can exercise for free.
Priority and discount on childcare: As an employee, you have priority for a place for your own child and receive a 5% discount on the costs.
Academy days and team outings: Twice a year, organizes De Kleine Wereld Academy days for all employees. These days are both educational and enjoyable, with drinks to round off the day. In addition, each location organizes an annual team outing, where you and your colleagues decide what to do.
Childcare Academy: Our DKW academy offers you extensive opportunities to develop yourself in the directions that interest you.

About your qualities

You share our passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety and security, and encourage their development. You also hold a vocational (MBO) or higher professional education (HBO) diploma, which qualifies you to work in childcare.
