About work
As a pedagogical professional* on a call-out basis, you will work at our location in the heart of Gouda. It is a special place: housed in a former stroopwafel factory, where industrial charm and a warm atmosphere come together. The location features three vertical groups and a private courtyard where children can enjoy playing outside.
On an on-call basis, you step in when needed. You work with children of various ages who play together and learn from each other. Together with your colleagues, you create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment in which every child is given the space to grow at their own pace.

You work on the basis of an on-call agreement (zero-hours contract). Together, we look at your availability and schedule around it. Ideal if you are looking for flexibility or want to combine this with other work.
*Pedagogical professional is the new name for pedagogical employee, a name that better suits the professionals who work day in and day out for our wonderful profession.
We offer you
A salary in scale 6 between €2.641 – €3.630 gross per month (36 hours, in accordance with the Childcare Collective Labour Agreement), depending on education and experience. On top of that, you will receive an 8% holiday allowance and an 8% end-of-year bonus, plus a 12-month contract.
You'll receive 210 hours of vacation leave per year. Travel is at our expense, €0,23 per km or a full public transport allowance, whichever you prefer. You'll accrue pension with the Healthcare & Welfare Pension Fund.
You can develop through our Development Center, with workshops and training courses of your choice. Once a year, we organize an academic evening, both educational and fun, concluded with drinks. For your vitality, we collaborate with SportCity (free sports) and Hart van de Zaak, and you can access coaching, budget advice, or mindfulness through the well-being platform Empowr.
Do you have children yourself? Then you have priority for a place at De Kleine Wereld and you will receive a 5% discount on the costs.
About your qualities
You share our passion and love for the profession. You offer children safety and security, and encourage their development. You also hold a vocational (MBO) or higher professional education (HBO) diploma, which qualifies you to work in childcare.
