Childcare
At daycare (0-4 years), we accommodate children in horizontal and vertical groups.
This stable and social environment allows children to develop safely.
Each child in the daycare center is cared for in its own group; the so-called core group. The core group is where the children have their regular meal and sleep times. During the day there are several moments when a child is not in its own group. For example, during drop-off and pick-up times, outdoor play and the open door policy.
A nice homely space and fixed daily schedule make the children feel safe and secure. This is necessary for the children to develop well.
Activities
at the
KDV
All the activities we do contribute to the children's development. The variety and variation in the range of activities is important to playfully address all areas of development. Think of the social-emotional, motor, language, cognitive, sensory and creative development. The child can participate in the activity at their own level. We make sure that an activity is set up so that children of different developmental levels can work with it. Above all, we offer children the space to be active in their own way. Because activities connect well with their experiences, children can develop fantasy games and learn all kinds of new concepts and words.

A baby is competent and vigorous, but also highly dependent on adults. A caring and trusting relationship with pedagogical staff is therefore important. A baby follows its own rhythm. In this we are childfollowing and follow as much as possible, in consultation with parents, the rhythm of home.
