Location
Location SE Pieter Holmplein is situated in a unique location, in the natural environment of IJburg. Housed in a modern but attractive building with a nice outdoor space.
Group Rooms
This Location, spread over two floors, has well-appointed group rooms. There are large windows overlooking the street side and the beautiful garden. The different play corners and quiet colors create a homely and cozy atmosphere. On the first floor there is a cozy central hall where children can use musical instruments and a real theater. There is also a wide choice of play materials for children to play with and the space is decorated with warm rugs and plants. This Location makes great use of each other's qualities and talents and are creative in organizing activities to experience together. This creates a familiar atmosphere where all children get to know each other and play with each other.... Each group has separate bedrooms and each child has their own bed available.
Outdoor play
Directly adjacent to the groups, there is a private outdoor playground where children can ride bikes and where various outdoor materials can be found. The nice environment allows us to take daily walks with the children to the cozy center of IJburg or look for nature in one of the beautiful nature reserves and parks.

At Location SE Pieter Holmplein we also offer VE Childcare . At the toddler group De Oceanen, toddlers can go exploring in our special (VE-recognized) toddler groups, where they explore under the specialized guidance of two (VE) qualified staff members. In the group, in the corridor, in the garden or outside Location: there is something to discover everywhere!
The group is set up so that the child can explore independently which ultimately allows the child to play and learn. There is room to play alone and there are places that encourage interaction. There are open places to play but also corners where a child feels unseen. The distance proximity of a child to a professional contributes to the different phase that play has.
Basic spots can be found in all groups.

Location
In addition to daycare from 0-4 years, the Location on the Pieter Holmplein also accommodates 20 After School Care children after school and during vacations. These are the youngest After School Care-children aged 4 and 5.
Group spaces
This Location offers a cozy group space where there is room for all kinds of creative activities or where children can just relax after a long day at school. The Location cooperates a lot with the After School Care-location across the square, with main entrance on the IJburglaan. The older children aged 6 to 12 are cared for there. They regularly visit, for example for an activity in the cooking cafe.

VSO Childcare
It may happen that school hours do not fit well with your work or study hours. To accommodate this, we offer pre-school care through After School Care. Here children can start the day quietly in a familiar environment and are taken to the relevant classrooms by our own staff.
At Location SE IJburg we only offer VSO for
the children of OBS Steigereiland and ABBS De Zuiderzee
We expect the children to have already had breakfast.
The hourly rate for VSO is the same as the hourly rate for After School Care. You can apply for preschool child care subsidies.
